I am really grateful to receive the honor of this prize.
It has been four years since I started taking pictures of flowers in Fukushima. I take pictures daily, as I wish for as many people as possible to share the delight of flowers, which overcomes the barriers of languages, nations, cultures, and viewpoints.
It is my utmost pleasure to spread the knowledge that Fukushima is a land of beautiful flowers and that we continue to take pride in our homeland.

I am a wedding photographer and this photo is one of my favourite. It simply shows the whole situation during wedding preparation in Bride's parents home. One picture shows all. The tradition.
I did this picutre in Poland, in Mińsk Mazowiecki. We are in Bride's home. The Groom is putting some money to Bride's shoe which is polish tradition. The whole family is waiting for parents blessing.

Masuleh is a villlage located at Gilan, north of Iran. It has a very unique architecture. The houses are built on top of each other and courtyards and roofs both serve as pedestrian areas similar to streets. Every year at the 6th of Muharram (Islamic Calendar), a traditional mourning ceremony called "Alam Bandan" happens in this historic village and all Mauleh-yis (People of Masuleh) come to their village to attend and watch this ceremony.
